Works at Rose Lane Primary School consisted of the design and construction of a new build single storey teaching block and associated works. The superstructure was constructed from FSC timber and a host of other sustainable materials to achieve a BREEAM Excellent rating.
Apart from the challenging specification and rate of production needed, the Rose Lane build-team excelled in their commitment to delivering on social value. From mud kitchens to bug hotels and outdoor classrooms constructed from surplus building materials, the site team went out of their way to deliver and won a social value badge.
