For Re-Gen, Ward 1 represented an immense challenge. Our scheme, the first one to be delivered for a new NHS trust, was to deliver a substantial new extension to an existing trust building. The scheme was logistically difficult and out team employed a myriad of innovative approaches to delivery of materials, waste removal and installation of key elements.
The Ward 1 delivered an Extra care, high security mental health unit designed to enhance the Trusts ability to provide specialist care to patients of a very particular nature. The scheme incorporated extensive, secure, outdoors recreation areas, including an outdoor cinema and sensory room. The entire scheme was anti- harm /Anti-ligature.
Re-Gen have since delivered several other projects for this client and remain as committed and determined as on the 1st scheme.
