After standing empty for 12 years, the redundant shop space at 21 Pier Arches attached to Pier Hill finally had plans for development. Having failed to find a business willing to take the unit on, our client in association with Focal Point Galleries planned to transform the space into a Café and Art Gallery for local artists.
Re-Gen was awarded the project at the end of May 2017. The project was to be a quick turnaround as the venue had plans for opening in July 2017.
The refurbishment included the installation of a new modern café style kitchen, state of the art lighting system plus a new heating and ventilation system. A new fully glazed shop front was installed complying to DDA standards for wheelchair users. The end product was a modern vibrant meeting place for people of all ages and cultures to enjoy. The venue displays local artists works through the years, encouraging and promoting local artists.
